What made it so special was she engaged the audience with her personal journey..."I'm telling you what happened to me" in an easy chat about her growing up in an Italian neighborhood with relatives everywhere. How she lay on the grass looking at the sky

while the ladies hung the sheets on the cloths line .In high school, she was voted "most likely to die". She also played the flute, at 70, she sang and danced like a young girl

Changing costumes, she sng the favorites - "True Colors" and "Girls Just Want to Have Fun"

.And then there was Kinky Boots We Are The World.

I would buy another ticket again and again if she sang nearby.

She was sensational!
